I have ESPN NFL 2k5 is there a way to update the players into the right teams by going online or something

Not sure but I doubt it. EA has the exclusive contract with the NFL Players Association(the Players Union) and so I doubt that any updates would be done, and probably aren't even allowed to. Also I think Take Two Interactive bought the 2K line after the NFLPA sold their contract to EA.
I have not looked. I doubt it. The NFL has an agreement with EA sports, who I think bought the makers of 2k5.
There is a way, but i cant remember right now. I do have good news for you buddy. there is going to be a Foodball game released the same date as Madden 08 and its called pro football of america or something lke that and its is made by 2k sports, so basically they found a way to bypass the rights that Madden bought out!
as far as xbox goes,they stopped updating the rosters online when EA bought the NFL licenses. they did like 2 of them before they stopped. you have to update them manually. i still play 2k5, im on second copy and have never bought madden. the 2k8 game will not have NFL teams or players, only a few legends.
