How is it that Peter Rabbit Carroll can have 10 NFL picks and get no criticism from ESPN for no crystal?

Just curious why he gets no heat. All teams have injuries and problems along the way, yet he seems to have a free pass...I know he is smooooth as it gets but come on....does Sweet Pete have some pics of the Gameday crew with the Navy mascot?

1. Well Pete does have an AP National Championship in 2003 a BCS in 04 another BCS Championship appearance in 05 and has won the Rose Bowl, a BCS Bowl in 06 and 07. How many Miami Hurricanes have been draft picks with only one Nat Championship since the early 90's? Pete continues to recruit stud players and play a tough schedule. How many big time teams like Florida State, Michigan, Alabama, Notre Dame haven't sniffed a title in years? When SC plays in big time bowl games they don't embrass themselves and their conference like OSU. It took a miracle performance by Vince Young in 05 to keep them from 3 straight titles. No team has a better track record than USC since 2002
2. Well, Carroll has won two titles before. As for this past year his QB, JD Booty, is a walking brain fart. Anyway, SC gets great college talent but for the most part they under perform at the NFL level. Lack of discipline and work ethic. Pete should continue to win games in college but we might see his players slip in the draft if this class bombs.
3. too many injuries affected their season.
4. It is never as hot in the kitchen after you have won a couple of national titles. Especially if you won them in recent seasons like Carrol has.
5. Pete needs to worry more about going to jail for all the illegal payoffs to USC recruits. It looks like it has spilled over to the basketball program now as O.J. Mayo got busted yesterday.
6. Why do USC fans still try and claim the 03 title? Since the BCS system was adopted, it is the ONLY championship that counts. USC did not even play in the championship game. The media is in love with PAC 10 and Big 11 teams and consistantly over hype them. They gave a "championship" to USC because they felt sorry for them being left out and Pete Carroll cried like a little girl. LSU RULES!!!!!
7. West Coast Media Bias--- they also need to be criticizing his coaching style for creating draft busts ... he has a team full of players that can't focus when they get to the NFL. The whole Pac10 is actually a weak conference, especially on defense, but the west coast bias makes it look like USC is crushing good teams, while the Trojans would be lucky to get 8 wins a season playing in the Big 12 or SEC. Darren McFadden, an actual running back would have scorched Reggie Bush's stats if he played in the defense-free PAC10 for example.
